Unfair rejection of claims
We took out a building cover with Outsurance when our bought my property.
Last year the portion of the ceiling in one of the rooms collapsed due to storm r, we removed the entire structure for the ceiling as we were afraid that it will fall again and hurt someone if it was left hanging.
We took an initiative and fixed the roof of the ceiling, and I lodged a claim for the ceiling as we could not sit with an open roof.
The inspector came to our premises and inspected, he did not even spend 10 minutes, he just mentioned that our claim will be rejected as the structure was incorrectly positions.
we paid our premiums monthly without fail and when we need them the most they come up with lousy excuses.
I regret ever taking the cover with them and would advice anyone who wants to take a caver with Outsurance to think again, they will reject your claim without thinking twice.

We have however now appointed another contractor to provide us with a report, which we wanted to notify you of. We will attempt to reach you to discuss the way forward.
