Unfair Rejection ***

For 7 years we pay our insurance without missing one payment!!!! You rejected our claim due to abandonment. In the 4 days that we were busy getting the house ready for the next renters to move in ******* ****** the house. We immidiately phoned outsurance to report it. The assesor went to see the house the next Wednesday. After that we did not get any feed back from outsurance. We had to phone everytime to find out what is going on with the claim. This was going on for 3 weeks! Today we phoned again to find out the claim has been rejected.

In this time that we waited to find out about the claim you guys actually received a payment from us. We have not received any policy or anything from you guys so we are not aware of any terms and conditions.

When Logan Naidoo phoned me he told me the assesor is busy with the Cape Town fires and he get back to us. I understand that there are people in Cape town in need. But we have been loyal clients for 7 years without any claims made!!!!

We need the insurance to pay out so we can fix the house as the rent we receive is our livelyhood!

Hello kita-botha
My apologies for the belated response. Coupled to this, we are so sorry about the traumatic experience and the subsequent disappointing outcome of your claim.
Thank you for the further patience you showed in reviewing the merits of the claim.
Our assessing manager confirmed our decision to reject your claim was over-turned and also discussed our reason for same. Mbongeni discussed this with your husband today.

Dinky
