unfair processes and unacceptable behavior
For the second time I'm claiming from my insurance company it has been a nightmare for me. Im tired of fighting. You listen to answer not to understand your customers point of view with information you have not disclosed. On the 30th of September 2017 I logged a claim with Outsurance for my vehicle. According to my understanding my insurance is o place me back into the position I was before the accident. Now I called Brandon Lee to ask him regarding the Pirate part that was going to be used to fix my car Brandon Lee confirmed that Pirate Parts will be used as it is Outsurance Policy. I called the outsurance call centre and spoke to Siphiwe Hlatshwayo to confirmed Brandon’s response but called it Alternative parts. I asked on the call if the parts come from Barloworld would it be in order to repair my vehicle he confirmed as long as the parts come from Barloworld or VW it would be fine. I then said thank you and informed him that Barloworld is GM he said only then no and the story changed Siphiwe Hlatshwayo was kind enough to send me a document which was send to be in 2014. Now in 2014 we only had home and content cover with Outsurance which in my mind that document was only applicable to the items on the policy at the time. So I wish to know HOW did my insurance company placed me back into the position I was before the accident took place for the following reasons. 1. I had original part on the vehicle which now I am unhappy with no disclosure of information when the vehical was added to the policy 2. My front headlights were adjustable. The lights fitted now took away the function. So the comfort of me by the turn of a nop to adjust the lights doesn’t excise anymore. 3. There are now parts that are falling out from my vehicle. Never was I given the option to choose for myself as my insurance company you forced what you wanted to happen after I have been a customer for over 10 years. As my insurance company you have threatened me on email that you will write my vehicle off. Now what do you want me to do when you and your “approved” supplier put me in a worse position that I was in as I cannot drive the vehicle due to fear of being stranded on the side of the road. This is the current position you have put me in.
