Unfair business practices

Outsurance always brags about how consumers “always get something out”. Well I definitely got more than I bargained for. Despite claiming to offer the lowest insurance premiums, my premiums became outrageous and I cancelled my policy. Insurance is paid in advance, not in arrears. Furthermore, cover simply lapses if a premium is not paid. But despite this, I gave notice. Imagine my horror when I discovered, a year later, that I am listed at the credit bureau, claiming I owe them money. So I emailed them with proof that I cancelled in good time. This was done on the 11th of August, still no response, while I have an unfair listing against my name. Stay away from YouI and Outsurance, because clearly it’s a crime to leave them. I will now have the headache of reporting my situation to the insurance ombudsman.
