Unacceptable conduct of outsurance service providers
One of the service providers of Outsurance smashed my front gate and almost crushed my mother in the process. The service provider got a person off the street to weld the wheel of the gate. The gate is damaged and there is damage to the structural integrity of the posts amongst other damage. The assessor noted that the gate is in imminent danger of falling off. It is my only entry and exit point. The service provider who smashed the gate disputes the damage according to outsurance. I have video footage that a neighbor provided of the incident. This morning the service provider or a representative of his was outside my property taking photo's of my gate, my property and my house without my permission. When I went out he drove off. Is this acceptable conduct of Outsurance's service providers.
Remember as my insurance company you are supposed to put me in a similar position I was in prior to the incident.
In April 2020 after a storm your assessors determined that there was damage to my paving. A service provider uplifted my entire paving and relaid it.
I paid an excess.
In November after a storm, a section of the paving sank in. At no time in the 27 years we have had the paving has it looked like this. You sent out leak detecting agents. The person said there was no leaks. It was poor workmanship. Your assessors determined storm damage. The service provider came out in December did a hurried job, uplifted and relaid the paving in that section. They painted my driveway twice over in one day because they were in a hurry to go on vacation. I paid an excess again.
That night it rained. It was not even a storm. That section sank in again.
My father who was on his walker fell on the uneven paving. After the fall his health declined. He became bedridden and passed away a month ago. Up until March he kept asking if the paving he saved for eight years, 27 years ago had been repaired. You sent out leak detection agents. The same person came out. He checked again. He said there was no leaks. He said it was poor workmanship. You sent out another service provider. He said the sand had not been compacted properly. He said poor workmanship. You sent out your auditor. He said poor workmanship. He even pointed out where it seemed the service providers hurried the brick laying. I received an email from your complaints department confirming the auditor confirmed poor workmanship and that a service provider would repair the paving. On Friday I received a call saying it was not poor workmanship but possible poor water management. And Outsurance would not repair the mess their service provider had made. So now I have to ask. Is there a ******* relationship between some of your staff and your service providers? Are there kickbacks involved? Why are you protecting some of your service providers? It's a serious allegation to make. But something untoward is happening.

We take much pride in our service delivery so it was most concerning to read about your service experience. Certainly not what we had wished for you to experience.
Our client liaison team have been in contact with you to get the matter resolved. Work has begun and we have been advised that you are happy with the progress thus far. An engineer has been appointed to do a thorough inspection and we will remain in contact with you up until the matter has been finalised and you are happy with the workmanship.
We sincerely apologise for the overall poor experience.

OUTsurance
