*****ulent towers that OUTsurance helped me with

Bare with me, this is gonna be a long story - SO, on Saturday morning a few weeks ago, my mom used my car to go somewhere nearby and as she’s on her way home, she stops by a red light. There’s two lanes and she’s on the left side, with another car on the right in the next lane. Just as the light is about to turn green, a car (not even a small car - a Toyota Corolla) comes between the two lanes and squeezes pass to make it three lanes. It scratches the right side of my car but drives on. Another Corolla follows but damages my car more and gets stuck in the side of my car. He’s mad angry at my mother as if it was her fault and then eventually drives off. We got their number plates but couldn’t get other details. I speak to the insurance they tell me to have it towed for assessment and make a case at the police station. On Monday, I phone OUTsurance to give them the case number and follow up on my car. Long story short whoever I spoke to on the phone on Saturday (using the towers phone coz they quickly called for me before I could even get my phone out - BIG mistake but what did I know), was NOT the insurers. It was the towers own people pretending to be my insurers. So this people basically politely highjacked my car. Luckily the person I was talking to at OUTsurance knew these ****s and could explain things to me compassionately, coz I was losing my mind and felt so violated. Ronel was her name and she was so helpful and assured they’d get my car back and sort everything out. Which they did (towers charged R22k to get my car back). Over the next few days OUTsurance collected my car, it went for ACTUAL assessment and then to the panel beaters. I wasn’t in the country to collect my car when it was ready so I asked someone else to do it but even that process was smooth and they worked with me to make sure I was happy and my car was taken care of. In all honesty I have very little faith in insurances given previous experience, but OUTsurance really came through for me with this incident and I really appreciate that. I hope working with you is always this effective 🙏🏽
