Too much excess...

After 10 years of claim free and be asked for 28k excess to fix that wich looks like a 30k damage ( im not an expert ) R800 premium per month on 2016 tsi polo wich is a fair premium i shoukd say..

How do you guys calculate that ???while your competaitors are way less than this .. 28 k to fix .. im wondering what if it was a total write off...
