Think carefully before you refer a new customer to Outsurance

I am an Outsurance customer and got a call to refer a family member or a friend. I did refer my wife to switch to Outsurance. A very big mistake I regret. She did switch and her car was involved in an accident three months down the line and that is when the true colors of this insurer came to light. They started making accusations about my wife having **** about her previous cover history and the like. We requested the recording only to find out that all the allegations are very much unfounded. I see this as just another trick of evading liability. This recording even took long to be released. What they purport to be lies are in fact factual responses that their service consultant was asking my wife about me. That in my view should not have come into the conversation. I am still surprised why the service consultant was asking about my history of coverage from my wife when all that my wife wanted was her own cover in her own name and the only thing I had was to refer her to my insurer. Outsurance now wants to charge a higher premium in retrospect, something that we are rejecting, and their basis is that there was a lie that we also dispute. This company runs very beautiful adverts but wait until you are in an accident and they start looking for every reason to avoid liability. Please be careful before you refer any family or friends to Outsurance.
