Thieving insurance company

My car was involved in an accident yesterday, insurance assessors are saying that the car is not a write off even though the whole left side of the vehicle is crumpled and all airbags on the left are out, does not affect the integrity of the vehicle? They are a bunch of ******* stay away!!!

1. My insurance premium is R3500 pm 2. Yesterday after the accident I checked the retail value of my vehicle and it was R325000, their retail value “R283695” 3. Damages to my vehicle R136691.02 4. Their salvage ratio 33.3262%, how????? Stay away from these thieving ***s

They’ll avoid everything to do their jobs properly, and incur legal costs to claim from the third party who did not have insurance (of which I doubt was even contacted) as everything is left to me now. My claims advisor told me that my excess of R15000.00 on a premium of R3500 is payable by me and I will get it back IF the third party pays them, so they can say goodbye to a client that trusted and believed in all their bull**** lies on every single adverti*****t. Really disappointed and disgusted.

And further more I did not know a few stone chips on a vehicle could drop its value by R40k, so you tell me what’s the point of even paying them if they’re going do anything to avoid doing justice to a client and taking small things like stone chips which every car does pick up into consideration when assessing a vehicle which got a 9.5/10 rating for condition when I took it in to BMW for a possible trade in?

I could not even get a second opinion because “we don’t do second opinions anymore”. I was not told this when we took out the policy. I WANT MY CAR WRITTEN OFF!!!!

So much for “we look for reasons to pay out”. Damn false advertising. I will make sure all my family and friends move their policies away from you guys
