They wont honour their word on OT***7

I received a quote for car insurance with an excess of R3850. I then spoke to a second agent a week late when I decided to accept the quote and sign on. The day after I signed up I received the policy email with an excess of R6000!<br> I called back to complain. They said they will listen to my calls. They called back a few hours later, said they heard my calls (both the original quote and the one when I signed up) and I was correct I was quoted excess of R3850) - yet they still will not honour their word! If I want to lower the excess I will have to put my premiums higher.<br> My wife has a policy on her car with Outsurance. Her premium is lower and her excess is about R3800. So There was no part of me that assumed anything was incorrect about the quote / policy.<br> I am shocked that they can agree that more than one of their reps quoted one amount yet still not keep their word! Time for me to cancel and move on elsewhere. <br> This is terribly disheartening. I wanted to go with Outsurance - they sound (ed) like a premium company, but this.....unacceptable.
