The arrogant disrespectful service from Mbali Mcube and Outsurance
On the 23/04/2021 an Outsurance vehicle drove into my parameter gate and damaged both my wall, gate and the pillars on my other gate. I sent photos showing the damaged gate and wall as well as, the damaged pillars of the gate that was not damaged.
I sent all the requested documents to outsurance and I received communication from the advisor to send documents that were already sent.
I am 70 years old and I live in Soweto, on the 10/05 /2021 they broke into my yard and stole old bricks and 12 plastic chairs. I reported this matter to Outsurance and they said the delay was on my side I had to send a utility bill which I had sent.
They then sent me an offer excluding the damaged gate but showing the gate undamaged gate where only the pillars were damaged. I then sent an email explaining that I have 3 separate gates at my property, one pedestrian gate and 2 big gates to which I have had no response.
Needless to say that I had another theft at my property where the damaged gate that was on the rubble was stole with 8 of my expensive wooden chairs. I then went to Moraka police station and reported Cas 333/5/2021.
On Friday the 21/05/2021 the advisor helping me with the claim Mbali Mcube returned my call at 15:58. She was so disrespectful and arrogant. She has been failing to put me through to her team manager Isaac Mogwera or his manager Tina saying they are working from home. When I call their numbers it goes straight to the message centre.
I am beyond frustrated and still sitting with a wide open yard and ****** items. Outsurance is now refusing to pay for a gate that was damaged by their client and was now ****** due to their delay. To say I have received no service from Outsurance is an understated.
I came to this platform because I don't know who or where to turn and if I never speak to Mbali Mcube ever again it will be too soon.
I just wonder that if I wasn't 70 years old or a black woman would I still be treated this way?
Desperate, frustrated and fearing for my life every single day of my life.
