Terrible service from Outsurance
We are in the process of selling our house, and while doing the COC inspections, it was determined that we had a possible leak in the wall of our downstairs bathroom, and we were advised to contact our building insurance (with outsurance) to get it repaired. I contacted outsurance and was adviced that there would be a R4000 excess on the claim (A hefty increase from the previous time we used it, but whatever we needed it to get fixed.)
The plumbers first took their time to come out, about a week, and first broke into our wall where there was no pipe, before breaking the ground tiles to replace the pipe. We then had a open hole in our wall and floor for nearly a month before the builders came out. That delay was bad, but is not the main concern of our complaint.
We first needed to negotiate with the builders to even come, and then when they arrived were completely chaotic and unsure of what they were doing. I was busy starting a new job and occupied the whole day so could not watch what they were doing. However please look at the picture below and tell me if this work is anywhere remotely acceptable:

It's like they barely put any effort into finding matching tiles at all! The white was replaced with grey and the floor tiles aren't even in the same region as the existing ones. After raising our concerns, the best they could offer was to redo the floor tiles that were replaced with better matching tiles a week later - however we now have an issue that the purchaser is aware of this, and barely matching tiles will not be good enough, meaning we are most likely going to have to retile the whole bathroom! Of course they won't refund the excess, only the portion of the work that caused our displeasure, please beware, if you are needing a wall leak fixed, it might be better to just get it done privately!
We don't blame you for sharing your bad experience. Certainly not the experience we had wished for you.
Further to our private response, we can confirm that Lindi our client liaison manager contacted you to address your concerns. Lindi discussed the recourse in detail with you. You were happy with Lindi's intervention.
You have our apologies for the disappointing experience.
