Such a let down

My experience with Outsurance has been such a let down. I thought I had peace of mind think that I am covered but I guess I learned a lesson. Make sure you know what is covered.

Reviewer Update
Initially when I spoke to the sales agent I wanted the see if they would offer me a lower premium on my car insurance as the outsurance adverti*****t. The quote came back higher and she offered me house hold content cover. After a lengthy pitch I decided to take out the cover. Months later when I submitted a claim it got denied. When I tried to cancel the cover I was transferred to a guy who spent most of the call trying to convince me not to cancel it. I felt cornered. How can you expect me to continue with the cover after you rejected my claim. I thank God the quote she gave me on car insurance was higher because I know if something happened to the car "GOD FORBID" OUTSURANCE would have found a reason to reject that claim too. By the way there was no mention of paying me because outsurance could not beat my car premiums.

Hello Nathan

Having a claim rejected is always disappointing and we fully understand how you feel.

You submitted a claim for accidental damage to your laptop. Unfortunately, accidental damage is excluded, unless you specified the item under OUT and About cover.
The relevant call was audited and our advisor did explain the above.

Our claims manager contacted you to discuss our findings,  but you sadly did not want to continue the discussion.

We are sorry about the costs you now have to incur but also assure you will always settle valid claims.

Regards
