Successful recovery of Excess payment

A year back a nice lady accidentally reversed into my car. Although she left her details, was kind and regretted the incident, she then quietly dissapeared without an offer to repair my damage. At first I tried to force her, but finally I felt it was not worth the fight. Outsurance repaired my car and I paid the excess. Outsurance promised to try and get my excess back from the lady. I said thank you, but in all honesty I just accepted my loss and decided to move on.
