SOME THINGS TAKE TAKE, BUT IT'S GREAT WHEN IT COMES THROUGH!!!

<p>I have just received confirmation from the Outsurance Excess/Claims Recovery Unit that my entire excess has been fully refunded straight into my bank account! A motorist reversed into my vehicle in January 2016 because the driver simply failed to check their mirrors. I had to put in a claim with Outsurance to get my vehicle repaired which entailed paying an excess of R3820. That's quite a chunk of cash; definitely not "pocket change". BUT, the Outsurance Excess Recovery Unit assigend Naidene Tsinonis to my case and she has followed through till the end! In my initial conversation with her, she stated that getting my excess refunded could prove to be quite a lengthy process that could even take years, especially if the other parties' insurance company refused to pay out. So, I decided to tackle this process with prayer and to simply wait for my excess to be refunded. After 9 months of waiting, during which Naidene did indeed call me about 3 times to update me on the process (which was great), today she called me for the last time to finally confirm that I will get my R3820 excess back. Originally I was quite hacked off, because I pay my monthly premiums faithfully and had to possibly lose an additional R3820 for an incident that was not my fault. But, although it took some time, I am delighted that, in the end, my monthly premiums have been the only expense I have incurred and that I have received the full refund.
