Similarities between Outsurance and Guavamint
1. Day 9 2. In both cases you pay for a service you do not receive. 3. In both cases you have to explain the same thing over and over again for 9 days 4. In both cases you have to think, act and engage as if YOU work there since you have to think for those you interact with. 5. In both cases the "dreaded" we will get back to you amounts to nothing (Don't confuse noise with action) 6. In both they make promises they don't keep 7. In both cases they do not care about their "constituents" 8. In both cases the right hand do not know what the left hand does 9, In both cases the more managers you speak to the less action and traction there is. 10. etc

We fully understand your frustration and thank you for your feedback. You raised your concerns with us before, which makes this an unacceptable claims experience.
Our assessing manager contacted you with an apology. He explained the reason for the delay and confirmed arrangements made with the respective service providers who will attend to the repairs.
Our assessing manager also provided you with his direct contact details and will ensure the claim is finalised as soon as possible.
Thank you for accepting our apologies.

18 Feb 2023, 11:13And the similarities between Outsurance and any government department continue...
1. Day 13
2. My frustration was supposedly understood and my feedback was apparently appreciated we are left with a hole in the ceiling and radio silence from Outsurance after I asked for a teleconference between all parties (Outsurance, plumbers, carpenters) ... requested during business hours on Friday, 17 February 2023.
3. As you all can see from the response from Outsurance (above) it is also supposedly an unacceptable claims experience ... I tend to think it is more a case of you cannot be surprised and disappointed at the same time ...
3. Typical similarity with government incompetence ... attempt to do something after some complaints, half fix it, make the situation worse, disappear into the night ...
4. If ever you come up against Carl who says it will be his mission to resolve your issue, even if the only thing he does that day ... run for the hills, and don't get your hopes up ... nothing more than "electioneering" ...
5. Next stop is the Ombudsman

21 Feb 2023, 15:14It is NO surprise that Outsurance has a Trust Index of 4 out of 10 and a Net Promoter Score of -2! ... just wish this was known before doing business with them '-(
1. Day 16 of the circus!! ... except it is neither entertaining nor funny!
2. Geyser was replaced ... but now half the house has no electricity ... sounds very government like does it not ... you cannot be surprised and disappointed at the same time I guess
3. Leak Tech Cc is a perfect match for Outsurance as a business partner... I can see why they are on the provider list!
4. What happened to paying for service and getting it?
5. What happened to integrity?
6. What happened to care for the customers and ethical workmanship?
7. Or do we just all take a leaf out of the government's book and do what Outsurance does???
If you can stay as far away from them as you can!!
