Scheduled interview with no show

I waited from 9am till 13:00. I asked a number of people including the reception and colleagues to call her but she did not come see me in the waiting area. How unprofessional is that and why ask a candidate for an interview if you not going to show up. I need a job but not in this manner. I made time to come all the way from Soweto for this but got a disappointment instead. When one call an interview and confirms the time, in essence they'd have ratified it regardless of whether an email or sms was sent to substantiate anything.
