****ing new customers

Outsurance continually plagued me to change my insurance to themselves, and after humouring them, with many very time wasting quote interviews, over the years they at last were even in the ball park on price, and I decided to change to them on the basis of maybe getting something back if no claims were made. We were told to have our cars evaluated at PG glass and after the first car was evaluated somebody phoned me to say the alarm immobilizer was not up to scratch and rattled off some ratings and figures of what he meant. I told him to put it all in writing and email the details to me.

I later the same day took my car in as well, and was unimpressed with the fact that the evaluator did not even want to see the details of what Immobilizer/Alarm I had, and said they would say it was a manufacturer fitted alarm ,because I said I bought it with the alarm, even though I specifically pointed out that I had bought the car second hand. The person who had taken the first car in, said PG glass had not noted what type, or even wanted to look at the documents that came with the device, so how do they even know it does not meet their requirements, and it is fact a better one than mine .

I never received an email as promised but a sms stating as follows “theft and hijack cover is conditional upon installation of OUTsurance approved immobiliser and there is no cover until vehicle has been inspected.” It seems I made a big mistake in even considering changing, as parasites looking for hosts will always find ways to **** folk, and serve their own, and collaborators greed. Where are the details of what is required and how much more of our time must we waste to humour them?

Karen contacted me and gave me me details to get the car assessed at a different place in Pinetown, as apparently PG Glass who they had originally sent us to could not do this,( Why send us there then in the first place, and why had the first caller not told us this, saying only we did not have the required alarm.) and then before it was even taken in for the second assessment, the original person again phoned me to ask if we had had a level 4 alarm fitted yet. (Again how the hell did he know what level alarm we had if no one had properly assessed it yet.) Karen could not answer why the promised 1st email was never sent, while the new assessor would not say what level the system was, or if it met the requirements, but only that he would submit his report to Outsurance.
Outsurance has sent an sms (three days after the assessment) saying they had received the inspection details but not whether they were happy it met there requirements, or any other details. If this is this the sort of service one can expect from Outsurance why on earth should anyone ever want to change to them?
