**** Promotion

On Wednesday 27 Jan 2021, my wife received a call from OutSurance. They wanted to try a quote that will beat our current car insurance. She explained to them that our insurance is under her name, but I her husband, is the one who pays for it and negotiates on it. They insisted they still want to give it a try so she gave them my number. I received their call on Thursday 28 Jan 2021. Spend at least an hour and half with the consultant Innocentia Zungu and she could not beat my current premium. Now they are liable to pay me R1500. I have been running like a headless chicken giving Haseena Naidoo all info they request as though I am the one who requested they call us in the first place. I negotiated a new premium with my current insurance, so the policy schedule I have has a new amount from the one mentioned in the quote. I went back and gave the correct amount. They wanted a 2021 date even though the one I sent is dated 26 Dec 2020, hardly three months which is still viable, fine I sent the one with the 2021 date.....all this time I need to call my current insurance to request all these changes. Now this morning they request that I change my whole policy so it can be under my name. Mind you, this was mentioned before the quote was done why did they not stop right there? Secondly, this is not the first time they failed to beat our premium but they paid us with no hassles, under the same terms and conditions, under the same insurance and the policy was till under my wives name back then. Why is it an issue now. I still don't understand, but its fine they can keep their money as I never asked for it in the 1st place but I am angry as they called us and wasted our time while we were fine on our insurance. With everything else that has been going on around OutSurance, I do not see myself using them in future and I would not recommend it to anyone and I think they should try another strategy as they fail to deliver on this current promotion.
