Salesperson Review – OUTsurance Bongani Mdluli

I would like to commend Bongani Mdluli from OUTsurance for his exceptional service. From the very beginning, he was patient, professional, and genuinely respectful, even when I asked many questions or challenged certain aspects of the quotation.

What stood out most for me was his ability to relate to me on different levels. I could engage with him as a corporate professional, and at the same time speak comfortably and openly, almost like I was speaking to a brother. That balance is rare and truly valuable in sales.

Although the premiums were higher than what I could afford at the time, and I ultimately could not take up the insurance, Bongani never became rude, irritated, or dismissive. He did his job thoroughly by trying to convince me, as a good salesperson should, but he also respected my position when I stood firm. At no point did I feel pressured, uncomfortable, or made to feel small for not proceeding.

His service was top-tier — calm, attentive, and authentic. It never felt forced, and it was clear that this is someone who is naturally gifted at what he does. Insurance quotations should never make a client feel punished for saying no, and Bongani handled this with grace and professionalism.

OUTsurance truly has a gem in Bongani Mdluli. Even though I couldn’t proceed with the policy, the experience itself was excellent, and I would gladly recommend him based on his service alone.
