Incident: In July I enabled a courtesy car option to commence at the start of August. A week after enabling the courtesy car option a Golden Arrow bus nearly drove over my wife, she had to swerve out and ran the curb causing damages.

The car was then towed by outsurance and upon arrival at their facility, they lifted the car using a forklift instead of a car lift, thereby causing further damages.

I phoned them today asking to exercise the courtesy car option which they refuse to give, claiming that the accident occurred before the courtesy car option kicks in at the start of August.

That doesn't make any sense. 1) I enabled the option before the accident 2) It is now already August and therefore should be given a courtesy car 3) They caused additional damage to the vehicle thereby extending the time of repairs - it's now been more than 2 weeks since the car was towed by them.

Side note: I spoke with a manager explaining everything but they refuse to give the courtesy car. I told him I'll be moving to another insurer as soon as I have my car back to which he seemed completely indifferent and apathetic.

TL;DR Outsurance is an ********* company that (like so many others) hides behind all sorts of hidden Ts/Cs - stay clear of these ********s if you value your money.

Lastly: I'll bet good money if they do phone me back it won't be for a courtesy car, simply to restate what their current position is. If that's the case please don't bother.
