Robbing their clients

It is common knowledge that when taking out insurance for someone under the age of 25, you pay an increased premium as young drivers are considered high risk due to their inexperience behind the wheel. That was explained to me when I took out insurance for my daughters car, a 2016 Suzuki Swift. My daughter is now over the age of 25 and the premium has not been reduced. When I phone and spoke to Lebo, he refused to reassess the premium for the Suzuki Swift simply saying that it is not true that people under 25 pay more. What absolute nonsense is this? You get hit with a higher premium because they are under 25 but when they turn 25, you do not re-adjust the premium.

Oh and try and complete a complaint on Outsurnace web site and their site conveniently does not work.

Hello Darrel

We know you will appreciate our concern about the service you describe.

Our client care manager contacted you. He explained why premiums will not automatically change throughout the year and that these factors are taken into account when policies are rerated annually.
He also proceeded by discussing address change and how this is linked to the age of the regular driver.

You sadly chose not to continue the discussion. Please feel free to contact us should you want to get more clarity on the matter.

Regards
