Roadside Assistance

I was extremely impressed with the level of service I received from OUTsurance this past Saturday.

While travelling from Cape Town to Johannesburg, just before the Touws River area, a warning light indicated that my vehicle’s oil pressure was dangerously low. We immediately pulled over and I activated the panic button on the OUTsurance app. Within seconds, I received a call from a consultant who assisted me calmly and professionally.

OUTsurance immediately arranged a tow truck and, in addition, sent a safety assistance vehicle to ensure we were safe while waiting on the side of the road. The consultant stayed in regular contact, calling multiple times to check on our wellbeing and providing continuous updates on the tow truck’s location and arrival time.

What truly stood out was the reassurance and transparency throughout the process — I was clearly informed that all costs, including the towing kilometres, were fully covered and that I would not need to pay anything out of pocket.

The responsiveness, care, and professionalism shown made a stressful situation feel completely under control. I am genuinely grateful for the outstanding service and can confidently say that OUTsurance went above and beyond to ensure our safety and peace of mind.
