Refusing to assist with ensuring my devices

Between my husband and I, we have a number of policies, some are on his name and some are on my name with Outsurance. All I need is for them to confirm and check that my devices are covered, and if my devices are not covered, I am asking them to please add all my devices to one of my policies. I spoke to Alison, a manager, who refused to assist. She said they could not ad my devices to my policies without my husband and they could not assist me. My husband is in DBN, his brother just passed away. They not even sympathise with me for our current loss of a life. Just pushed their agenda which was to force me to get my husband on a call. He just lost his brother and is in no condition to sort out our policies and I repeatedly explained this to them. Now I am sitting with devices that are not insured and outsurance refuses to ensure us.

Good afternoon Eezy Eezy,

Further to our private reply after receiving your complaint, our client care manager Sershen contacted you to discuss our processes.

Amendments on a policy can only be made by the policy holder or contact person for security reasons.

We understand that your husband is dealing with a huge loss and send our condolences.

Sershen has offered an alternative solution to proceed, however you were not amenable to this option.

We are sorry for the frustration caused and hope you can understand that all our processes are in place for a reason.

Regards,
The OUTsurance Team

Let's just be clear and provide facts to understand the scenario. Your solution was for me to insure the devices twice. As in pay on my husband's policy and double pay on my policy. Your solution was for me to run a financial loss which is a ridiculous request given the current economic state of the country and the rise of inflation.

I have let you know we are dealing with a funeral and are incurring hefty funeral expenses, and you still want to me to incur extra costs by double paying. Is that your idea of a solution? All I needed was for assurity that my devices are covered. I even asked you to go listen to the phone call where I, in my voice, not my husband's voice provided the details of the devices and even that was too much for you to do. To listen to a voice recording of my own voice.

There are gigantic gaps in your processes that require interrogation. I will continue to question them until someone provides me with assurity that Outsurance interrogates their own process to better the client's experience. Right now I have no confidence in Outsurnce and don't trust that they have my best interest at heart.
