Redefining the meaning of 'shortly'

Last year when I struggled for 3 days to submit a claim outsurance used this tactic to pull me over a barrel, paying out R40K for an item that was insured for its replacement value of R70K. Now we have the same again. Submit a claim and almost immediately receive confirmation by informing you that an agent will call you shortly. Well like last time 'shortly' apparently means a few days or longer. But their rerate notification is never ever late.

Hello chucky

We are truly sorry you were not contacted by our claims department to register the new claim right away. Sydney has since registered the claim and explained the process going forward.

Our assessing manager contacted you regarding the previous claim. You did however not want to discuss the reason for the settlement amount again.

Please don't hesitate to contact us should you have any further enquiries.

Regards

Dinky

The following statement in your response is an outright lie - "You did however not want to discuss the reason for the settlement amount again." Not only are you a highly ********* company but the only way to get a response from you is to Hellopeter you, if I did not do this I would still be waiting to get a claim registered.
