Zero star for them. When it comes to 3rd party claims, they just don't care. They will tell you of 70/30 rule they use. So if you drive a cheaper car than the person that caused an accident and your damages are lesser they will not fix your car. I've heard bad stories about Outsurance before. They just don't care. If I was the one who caused the accident, they would be making noise. I have insurance with them for my other car, house, business and will start shopping around. It is useless to give my premiums to a company that does not care

Our liability claims manager contacted you. He discussed the reasons for us paying the 3rd party claim and confirmed the value of vehicles play no role when apportionments are app****. Some 3rd party claims are settled at 100% and others not. Mmeli also explained the difference in terms of a contractual claim, whether a client of ours or a 3rd party claim and when a claim qualifies as a 3rd party claim. We will follow what the law says on matters such as these.
