R8600 excess fee on a geyser!
Absolutely disgusted by Outsurance. My mom has home owners insurance and her geyser stopped working. she called them in and the plumber who came in said it needed to be replaced. They then said it was covered but she will have to pay an excess fee of R8600. R8600 excess is absolutely diabolical, especially because her policy documents state that excess will be under R3000. We are still in the process of talking to them, but absolutely insane and do not recommend them. We will be changing my mom's insurance promptly.
