“R500 if we can’t beat your quote”
Very disappointed with OUTsurance’s “R500 if we can’t beat your quote” advertising campaign.
I requested a quote over a year ago and OUTsurance could not beat my current insurance premium. Recently, I tried again to move over, and once again they could not beat my existing quote. However, when I requested the advertised R500 payout, it was declined.
This feels very misleading, especially when the promotion is heavily advertised on national TV. Customers expect companies to honour what they advertise. Unfortunately, this experience has left me frustrated and disappointed with OUTsurance’s service and marketing practices.
