R400 ****

I was contacted by Outsurance to provide me a quote. In the back of my mind I was thinking, I could do with R400, why not. After the whole process we found out that I cannot have an excess waiver as I am under 55. The guy then hung up. When hearing the advert on radio again this weekend I thought I never got my R400. Spoke to them to be told the quote had expired. When I eventually spoke to the manager, I was told that the terms and conditions said that the quote expires in 30 days. I asked if it was not required for them to tell me about the terms and conditions to which I got a very stern NO. Was also told that I am immediately disqualified from the R400 promotion as I did not initiate the quote. No I have listened to this advert quite a few times and nowhere do they say this. Seems like they know they will not be paying the money or they will get a new customer. Brilliant but not exactly ethical.
