Put through an insurance claim if you want to further upset your inner peace!!!

This insurance business is really getting my blood boiling. I just had another incident with another company that reminded me of this one.

I submitted a claim for my outside boundary wall. their assessor casually came through and said , no, your wall didn't have reinforcements. My first thought was, but this is the same wall you accept insurance for every month, and how would I know that it doesn't have that? so I get someone to fix it and in the rubble, he shows me what they meant by reinforcement because I insisted on him ticking all the boxes so that I don't go through the same problem. So it did comply after all.

Oh and if you think that you will get the "no claims bonus" on something that still belongs to the bank, like a house, forget it, it "theoretically" belongs to the bank, even though you are paying the insurance.

Forget pyramid schemes and political *******ion, this is where the real ******** takes place. mxm.

Hello rose-masemola

Thank you for the opportunity to discuss your concerns.

You are referring to a claim we rejected in 2014. Our assessing manager contacted you after having received your complaint.

She discussed the rejection in detail and also the principles of defective workmanship versus insurable events.

You are dissatisfied that we did not inspect your home when we provided you with insurance. She explained why and explained visibility of defective workmanship is not always possible.

Thank you for your time.

Regards

Dinky
