Pro-Rate Dispute

Yesterday I was contacted by Outsurance to offer a package for my new vehicle. We went through the whole process of bank details deductions and prorata fee that needed to be paid prior the cover, I agreed to pay the amount far, however then another insurer called me and offered to a good deal, I then asked him to cancel my deal with Outsurance of which they normally notify the other that the client would like to cancel, Outsurance called me to find out its true because it was too soon (within a space of less than 2hrs) I said to the lady who called me to say she is the head of financial advisor and would like to know why im I cancelling ii told her i got a better offer, she then tried to keep me onboard with a deal/package of R1.7 i told her listen im too tired to even think of considering them with this option but in my mind the prem R1.7 was still high so then she said Sir remember the prorata is still going to go off your account, i said to her, lady that's not going to happen, because the consultant never explained the cooling off / cancellation period, so no money will go off my account, she insisted and spoke over me whiles i was still talking, she was irritated and raise her voice at me, i just decided to hang up the call, before I did that, when I said i too tired several times i said this, she asked should me leave everything as is for now and talk tomorrow, I said to her cancel and call me tomorrow.
