POOR SERVICES FROM OUTSURANCE LIABILITY DEPARTMENT

I have phoned OUTsurance 3 times the last 3 weeks and every time I get an answer the legal department will contact me and nothing happens. When I app**** for the liability insurance I told the person we are a training company and I need Liability insurance to protect me against claims on clients premises and he said yes they can provide me with it, but now it seems as if I am paying every month for something and nobody can assist me in this matter to advice who is liable to pay for the damages.

I did not receive any reference number only a call back from a lady whom said the legal department will contact me as in the previous conversation and nothing happens.

I am a training company working on clients premises and there was an incident while busy with training where a vehicle was involved and now they are holding me responsible for the damages on the vehicle because my assessor working for me was on site. I had similar problem a few years ago and OUTsurance handled the case for me and assist me in sorting out who was liable for the payment.

I am now been pushed by the owner to repair this vehicle and then claim from my insurance and I don’t think this is the correct way for them to forces me into something without me finding legal advice.

Can I please have assistance from the legal department or must I cancel my policy and go to another company that is willing to assist me with Liability.

I cannot spend time and hold on for more than an hour to try and explain my problem and have to speak to 3 to 4 people before I get told we will phone you back. I was called on my cell number from *** where I was told on 6/4/2022 the legal department will contact me. Please listen to the recording of my conversations

Hello Marietjie S

We are very sorry you were not assisted by our commercial public liability team right away!

We have since contacted you and explained why we do not cover any liability which arises from the driving of mechanically operated vehicles. The liability is attached to the vehicle itself. The 3rd party will have to submit a claim from their own policy.

Regards
OUTsurance
