On the 27 May 2020 my vehicle that is insured with Outsurance had an incident.I have logged in a claim on the 02 June 2020 (I have laryngitis and have advised the claims agent that I would only be able to communicate via email and I currently still have no voice so I can only be contacted via email - ***) and to date it is not finialized as Outsurance is more interested in my husband's prior cancelled policy with them. Outsurance Assessor wants to know if my husband's policy was cancelled why do I go take out a policy now on my name. The fact of the matter is my husband's policy was cancelled in 2017 and in 2018 he was contacted by two Outsurance agents to take on new policies, so if Outsurance Agents contacted him to take on new policies then why now the sudden interest in my husband's cancelled policy when it comes to processing my claim as the current policy is on my name not my husband's. Outsurance Assessor also states the the companies financials is on both my name and my husband's which is incorrect as the CIPC documents show my husband is the only director of his company. Outsurance keeps sending me emails stating that ********** information must not be supp**** as it will affect my claim but they themselves are giving out false information that the companies financials is also on my name. Outsurance also wants to know whether I am married in C. O. P which I don't understand why this should concern them in the processing of my claim as they never asked this question when I took out the policy. The point of the matter is that it is true my husband's policy was cancelled but my husband was an individual who took out the policy on his name and he is the only director of his company and the current policy in question is on my name. Please note that I am looking for assistance for this matter to be addressed immediately and my claim should be finalized.
