Poor service from their sub-contractors

I made a claim on the 11/07/2016, regarding my leaking geyser. The call centre agent was excellent I must say.

They promised me that someone will come to my house to do a damage assesment and they also tld me that if the geyser is still under warranty it will be replaced without me paying any cent.

Well on the 12/07/2016 the company called FAT BOYS, they came at 8:05am. the contractor climbed into a ladder and when he got off the ladder he just tried to confused by telling that the damage was severe but if he has to do he has to charge.

Firstly he doesn't know the warranty of that came with the geyser, he never assessed the damaged properly. He just only wanted me to pay him. They left without making any assesment.

My concern here is that how come Outsurance have the ability to appoint *********** companies for mainatenance?

I just wanted assistance to fix my geyser. It looks like Outsurance they don't monitor or do a thorugh audit of their sub-conttactors.

How can they be sent to do work but they left me and promise me that someone will be sent the same day to come fix my geyser. I'm still waiting.

It looks like FAT BOYS company they have their own ways of dealing with black customers I presume. because the way they treated me I was very belittled.

Is time for Outsurance to get its house into order

Dear Thapelo
Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to discuss your concerns in details. We apologise for the lack of feedback. We confirm our service provider explained it was never the geyser which was faulty but it was the pipe that leaked. We've appointed a solar plumber to inspect and provide you with further feedback.
If you need any other assistance you are welcome to contact Kelly directly.
Kind regards,
Alet
