Poor service along with lies and *********** agents
For the past 2 weeks, I was given the back-and-forth treatment by Outsurance. My vehicle was damaged after a small accident and my quotation was sent through to me, excess being R4890. I purchased one of the parts myself and informed both the repairer and Outsurance (in July 2022) about this. Outsurances agents PROMISED me that the QUOTED amount (R550) for the part on the quotation would be DEDUCTED from my excess amount,(please refer to the numerous phone calls that I made where agents confirmed this). I've BEEN asking since Monday (if not last week already)for a new quote so that I can see the change. No surprise, to this day, no new quote.
Every day I must call Outsurance because they fail to give me a simple update on what is going on. Pathetic. Then today, when I was supposed to once again get my new quote and collect my vehicle, wow Outsurance is still not competent enough to attend to my request of Monday (each day this week I was promised I will get the new quotation 'tomorrow').
Today, Sam Mokoana(one of the very agents who CONFIRMED that the QUOTED amount on my quotation for the marker lamp will be deducted from my excess amount) changed his entire story around, I was flabbergasted. He insists he never said that the quoted amount will be deducted (once again please refer to the recorded calls) instead that my purchase amount will be deducted (R155) which appears on the invoice I've emailed them this week. This was so bizarre because this man and his colleagues straight out **** to me on RECORDED phone calls. I was **** to, given the run-around and on top of that dealt with a RUDE agent stating the following over the phone call to me today; Sam tells me" it was your Choice to buy a cheaper part and I can't help for that" "so now do you expect us to pay your R550 that was quoted for the marker lamp since you want your excess deducted". What a way to speak to your loyal paying clients. Disgusting.
If I told outsurance about the marker lamp I purchased in July 2022 already, why did they still quote me for it? And if you say you going to deduct the R550 from my excess why don't you? Why do you say one thing and do another and then have the audacity to give me a stink attitude and 'a piece of your mind' because you don't want to reduce my excess like it's your money? It's my first claim and it will for sure be a memorable one. Now today, I have no quote and no vehicle. I couldn't collect my vehicle due to agents simply not doing their job (once again, you say one thing and do another). My frustrations cannot be emphasized enough, all you've done as service was INCONVENIENCE me.
They don't value their clients. Don't waste your time, I don't recommend Outsurance. The lies and deceit are beyond me.
