Poor service

I've had insurance with outsurance for the past 2years,hadnt claimed in these 2years. I insured my log home/log cabin which is standing on polls half a meter above the ground down the line It started sinking thus causing the floor and ceilings to start caving in and tried putting a claim in to maybe get it repaired.the assesor came out and when he arrived didnt even know what he was there to asses and therefore I had to explain to him he then took pictures and left, after a week they phoned me and said that the claim had been declined.i then decided to cancel the insurance as I feel that I am paying all this money every month but they cannot assist me.what also shocked me was that when they called me back to assist me with cancelling the insurance they didnt even try to stop me from cancelling the insurance so obviously there customers are not all that important to them and they are not bothered with loosing customers.i paid this insurance for 2 years all for nothing as they didnt assist me with me claim and I got nothing back for paying for 2 years.i am a very unhappy customer and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.and they new what I wanted insurance for the day I took it out.

Good day Zaid,

Thank you for raising your concerns with us.

We will always ensure we do the right thing and we can assure you we settle all valid claims.

Our claims management team have been in contact with you to discuss your claim in detail. An engineer went to your premises to do a thorough inspection and we shared his findings with you.

We regret that we are not able to pay your claim, for the reasons we have provided you.  We firmly believe that your claim is not valid in terms of our agreement with you.  We have responded to your objections made to us and provided you with the information.

We are not insensitive to the financial loss you have incurred as a result and we do apologise for the disappointment.

Regards,
