Poor sales work!

I had a sales consultant contacting me and I gladly accepted the offer. He promised to do all the cancellation etc with my previous insurance. When I phoned to confirm if it was done I was told he will come back to me. After I phoned again after a few more days I was told that he no longer had access to the policy as he works in sales. Did he make these promises only to get the sale..

Not a good start for me with outsurance!!!!
