Poor Customer Service

I want to take this moment to air the utter disrespect and disgust I feel for the way ive been treated and bul**** by Outsurance staff after I contacted them regarding a third party claim against one of their clients.

Their client negligence in a circle caused us to collide. Their case which they insisted upon is I was in the right hand lane and unsafely changed to the left which then lead to the collision. Simple enough right? WRONG!?

Below is the statement I submitted:

“I approached the circle in the right hand lane from the arboretum road (refer to picture) joining traffic was in the left-hand lane. As I approached the circle I indicated the route in which I was intending to go. Stopping at the circle I observed the routes traffic in the circle was going having my indicator on all the time. When the opportunity presented itself i drove towards the inside lane of the circle Nuwe vlei str being my goal i made sure that my indicator reflected this. Checked my mirrors before turning. Already turning the vehicle of Mr. Brown in the outside lane proceeded to drive around the circle (note: if you intend to drive around the circle you should be in the inside lane and indicated your intentions neither of which was done) to which I app**** the brake. The collision occurred”

I proceeded to explain that I was in the circle before their client and the only reason why the damage to cars are the way it is is because I obeyed the law, saw their clients car and managed to hit the brake. Their consultant started to insist that I was in the wrong lane cause a circle has 3 points of exits. Having Never even driven in this circle I told him that this particular circle from where I was had five different directions I could have gone my exit being the second one. He only then googled the circle. I then told him that the lane that I was in was the safest lane as joining traffic was on the left. I indicated my intentions far ahead of time and since I was in the circle first I surely therefore I had right way. He then started raising his voice yelling over the phone I then had to tell him to calm down it was then I realized a few things. 1. They never really investigated this case there findings are entirely based on assumptions and unfounded so called facts based on the testimony of their client. 2. They will assume their clients are right without investigating the matter properly 3. Their objective is not to make sure what is right but rather to do any and everything possible to NOT take responsibility even if they have to resort to bully tactics.

So I am left with the following questions having told my case is rejected and being told that I must pay their clients damage:

How am I negligent after Ive done everything right? IF I was negligent for doing everything right surely your client was negligent as well, why am I the only one having to pay?

Never once when I asked the above questions did I get an answer it was rather met with unruly behavior. Which lead me to believe that they didnt have it. I was told by their consultant after dealing with me for just two days and being yelled at and disrespected on the second day that this is the last day he is going to deal with this and that he is the nicest person I will deal with because their legal team wont be. I cant possibly mention day all the horrible things I was told. Is this how Outsurance treat people?

All I want as a functioning law abiding citizen is to be treated fairly.
