Policy Nightmare

I have been a client of Outsurance for a number of years. I have learned a hard lesson in the past and that is to have a look at your policy in detail. These errors I have pickedup with previous insurance companies. However also being human and also percieving that according to me that Outsurance is the market leader when it comes to insurance that there is also some flaws that takes place and you have to check your updated policy always. I tried getting a comparitive quote for my building insurance that is currently with the bank whom financed my bond. However I was told that my current policy can be relooked at. This was done and it was reduced however being on leave having time and not like a normal working day rush I discovered changes to my policy without my consent. Firstly my vehicle excesses was moved from R2500 to R3560 and R2810. What was also surprisingly to me I have contacted Outsurance last year and updated my details due to installing electric fencing and an alarm system with armed response. I saw the hidden clause that if these units aren't in working condition and if the armed reponse doesn't attend to a call out they will not payout. I have requested to remove it
