I was incorrectly advise by an insurance advisor which lead to misinterpretation of the policy. The advisor’s negligence has affected both parties but the consequence are affecting me more because instead of my claim being validated fairly, I am being patronised by the assessor, he has questioned my integrity and made remarks based on opinionated statements which he concluded as factual which I find bias.
He claimed that outsurance is fair and the reason for our meeting is for him to assist with validating my claim, which he will present my statement to outsurance for further validation conclusions but instead he concluded the validation prior our meeting based on researches he has made which he strongly emphasised as facts.
His speculation are based on the feature of the bag that “lights up” so his conclusion is that I never owned the bag even though I made it clear to him that I did not receive the bag with any cables, battery pack or a speaker like he mentioned and I made it clear that it was a second hand bag. To my understanding shouldn’t this bag light up only when the battery pack is included? So does that mean if my bag didn’t light up,according to him does that validate that I never owned the bag?
He goes on speculating further that my partner never own the sneakers and leather jacket based on an assumption that they were released recently. With that said my partner confirmed these items were gifts, confirmation of the authenticity or ownership can be confirmed by his father who gifted the gifts.
In conclusion, the method of how the validation processes were followed vs his explained of how the processes would be followed is disproportional, the length he has take based on the theory of his questioning method was based on concluded opinions of which he failed to practice fairness
