Please cancel my policy | 40% premium increase madness!
I had one claim in 3 years for a geyser that burst. pretty sure it didn't cost more than 5k in total to fix of which more than half was excess and they giving me a 40% premium increase! Madness. please cancel my policy i'll move to Santam or Sanlam! Inflation for the past year was < 5% and you giving a 40% increase! ********! Not even ESKOM tried to be this ********. Beware when taking out home insurance with Outsurance and you make one small claim. My last date of cover will be 31 March 2022.

01 Feb 2022, 11:44Good day Wesley,
Thanks for raising your concerns with us.
Bongani from our retentions team has been in contact with you to address your concerns regarding the rerate. There are various factors that will contribute towards a premium increase at rerate stage such as claims, inflationary adjustments, underwriting changes etc.
We do apologise for the disappointment.
