Pet Insurance: Exceptional service during a difficult time

We recently experienced an incredibly traumatic incident when our beloved dog was brutally attacked by another dog. She spent four nights in the hospital, and sadly, in the end she didn't survive. Throughout this devastating time, Outsurance Pet Insurance was truly a pillar of support.

We were on their Standard Plan and one of the features I appreciated most was the fixed excess of R550, regardless of the payout amount. On the day of the incident, I explained to Outsurance that we didn’t have the funds to pay upfront and wait for reimbur*****t. They immediately stepped in with compassion, arranging direct payment with the vet. This meant we didn’t have to worry about finances while grappling with an already overwhelming situation.

To our immense relief, Outsurance also covered the cost of cremation, showing their understanding and empathy in this heartbreaking moment. Their swift action and genuine care allowed us to focus on saying goodbye to our dog without additional stress.
