Personal Building Claim - Not getting any feedback\poor response

Good day

On 4 April 2017 I registered a claim (nr ********** 70) after damages were reported to me after a break in.

Up to date, more than a week later, I have had no feedback from anybody at Outsurance and also do not know who the assessor is working on my claim. I phoned Outsurance a few times to try and get some feedback.

Since this is a rental property I am concerned that the tenant is getting the impression that the rental agent and owner is not concerned about their safety. I explained when logging the claim that the tenant is at risk since the boundary wall was damaged as well as the security gate, so the tenant is quite exposed. I therefore after also asked by if there was any urgent repairs, that we should see if we can do anything in the interim to the boundary wall and security gate to provide more safety to the tenant.

I hope this situation can be resolved asap.

Regards

Heinrich

Good day HDdenysschen

You have our sincere apologies for the lapse in our service delivery to you and thank you for bringing the matter to our attention.

Our assessing manager, Moegamat contacted you and your concerns were discussed. He provided you with an update on the repair work which has been arranged and has also since arranged for the payment for security gate of which you obtained a quote for.

Please contact us should you have any further enquiries.

Regards

Dinky
