Pathetic Service

I have been with Outsurance for many years and never claimed in my life. I pay about R3000 pm to them. I recently bought a new DC bakkie and is compressively insured with Outsurance. A taxi drove into me on 16 January 2023. Il submitted a claim the next day and the assessor did the virtual claim. A panel beater contacted me to arrange repairs. They say they will order parts and let me know when to bring the bakkie in. After several weeks of nothing I tried getting feedback from the the panel beater ( Apollo in George). They again promised to come back which they did not. After struggling to get feedback from Outsurance the told me the parts is on backorder. I phoned the retailer and went through the part list. They assured me none of the parts is on backorder. I asked the panel beater to provide me with the parts order which they failed to do. I complained to Outsurance and told them about the parts. I had to hold on for hours trying to get a decent answer and when you leave a message they do not respond. Eventually canceled the order with the panel beater and ordered the parts myself. I received it within 2 days. Outsurance is very efficient when they want your money. As soon as you have a claim you end up running into walls. They think when they appoint their pathetic service providers their job is finished. Now they want me to do their job and write a report on my concerns!! Seriously!!??
