Pathetic Outsurance

Last week i contacted Outsurance to submit a building claim. I needed an electrician as i had problamatic wiring, on top of that we're having constant unscheduled loadshedding to a point that my TV and Refridgerator was becoming faulty. Outsurance send out someone to assess the tv and fridge and it turned out that they were fine and luckily not affected, we decided to proceed with claim on building though because of the electrical wiring. The service provider they use "continental services" contacted us and the electrician said he was going to come on Wednesday to assess the problem. On Friday i phoned again because the electrician never pitched. He phoned back and blatantly **** about not having my information and that he will come on Monday. Because of the issue being so urgent and dangerous, i couldn't wait untill Monday and proceeded to find and pay an electrician myself to fix the problems on Saturday. He subsequently informed me that the wiring was so messed up it could have resulted in the house burning down. To my surprise Outsurance had the audacity to send me an e-mail stating that i'm a "multy claimant" and that my excess for any future load shedding claims will be R7500. I am livid at the pathetic service and treatment i received fom Out and will make sure this does not go unnoticed by letting every single person in SA on any media platform i possibly can know how Outsurance treats its customers, and i want to gladly cancel my insurance with Outsurance.
