Partial payment on what was agreed on to sell my car and non delivery of promissed services
The insurance company is issue with the insurance was the petrol that had to be delivered was delivered was not even delivered on time i had to call my friend who arrived before the insurance company and yeah that's issue number one issue number two is the chips on the window that were paid for by them it cost me about the normal cost about 200 but now that was also seen as a valid claim and i took the car two times and they found those chips on two occasions when the car was there for service and they is number three is the porthole claim that i cancelled which was also seen as a valid claim even though it was cancelled they don't tell you that and then they increased my access from 5000 to 6500
My car got involved in a car accident and guess what they don't wat to pay the retail value of the car they want to pay what they want to pay me
1. Emergency? Not for them.
When I needed urgent petrol delivery, it was a disaster. The petrol wasn’t delivered on time. I had to call a friend to help me — and guess what? He arrived before the so-called emergency response from the insurer.
2. Windshield chips – twice found, twice ignored.
There were chips on my car’s window that were clearly there when the car went in for service — not once, but twice. These were legitimate issues, and I paid out of pocket — about R200. But instead of owning the claim, they filed it and used it against me as if it was some big deal.
3. The porthole claim that never was.
I cancelled a claim about a pothole — yes, cancelled — and yet, somehow, it still counted as a valid claim on my record. How does that make sense? They never told me that a cancelled claim could still be held against me.
4. Surprise! Higher excess.
Without any reasonable explanation, my excess was increased from R5,000 to R6,500 — quietly and without my consent. They’re stacking the odds against me.
5. And now the final straw: the accident.
My car was recently involved in an accident. And now, when it really matters, they don’t want to pay out the retail value of the car. No. They want to pay whatever they feel like paying. Not what's fair. Not what’s due.
