Outsurence Claim

Included in my house contents an amout of R30,000 is allocated towards jewellery that is unspecified and less that R75,000. I lost a diamond ring around the value of R18,000. Outsurance : Sorry you cannot claim : it must be on Out snd About (additional to current cover), must be ******, or a burgulary must have happend. I do not agree as firstly when I took out thd policy I was not informed that the R30,000 is only on condition of the above. Told them I lost the ring, I am prepared to go to SAPS and get a case number. No it must be ****** etc. They change their rules to suit them as they now force me to take out additional insurance. The ring I want to claim is less than R75,000 thus it does not need to be specified. Further I was told : but other people lie and that because of this, they will only pay out - snd I must take additional Out and About cover. This makes me feel I should rather be dishonest then I will be helped.
