Outsurane doesn't care my house will soon start to Crack and fall apart ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
There was a leak in my bathroom i lodged a claim with outsurance they sent in their own plumber he gave a wrong report and said a waste trap was damaged they rejected my claim and said it was not covered I went and got second opinion from three other plumbers who disputed this they said the pipe that transferred water to the bath is leaking i did sent this report to outsurance they wanted to dispute this i suggested that they sent someone who would look deeper into the problem we agreed that the leak detection specialist will be sent of which they did
Opon his arrival he confirmed what was said by my contractor he also said the damage was big he will talk to outsurance to dispatch structural engineer and carpenter because I will have remove all the tiles in my bathroom and change my cupboards and tiles in my kitchen and passage and paint my house inside in the passage and outside paint the whole house The report from my contractor came with a quotation a day after the leak detection specialist came I received a call from the insurance wanting to pay out the amount that was quoted by my insurer I refused and told them that the leak detection specialist said he will talk to outsurance to dispatch a structural engineer and a carpenter to check the extent of the damage the amount on the quotation is too little
I had asked them for the report from the leak detector they wanted to send a plumber to come and check what needs to be repaired after going through the report it stated clearly what needed to be fixed i called them and told them that the report states clearly what needs be fixed if they going to send a plumber they must send a plumber to come and do the repair not check we agreed they instructed the plumber to collect the access fee from me but when I communicated with the assessor he said no access fee will be paid because we first need to access the total cost of all the damages but let's stop the leak to prevent further damage
I feel like OUTsurance's assessor is trying to frustrate me by asking for access in order to push me to accept the payment for the quotation from my contractor because when he wanted to process my quotation without doing everything that needed to be done by the leak detector that they sent he didn't demand access he was prepared to deduct the access from the amount because it was saving them money
One of the things that were mentioned by the leak detection specialist was that if this is not fixed as soon as possible the water bill will go up and so is the electricity bill my house will start to Crack I'm emotionally drained because of this I need help
In response to our initial reply to your review, we received feedback from our assessing manager, confirming he was in contact with you.
It's unfortunate a misunderstanding arose between the leak detector, the plumber as well as our assessor regarding excess payable upfront. This has now been clarified and recourse was discussed with you.
