Outsurance...you don't ever get something out.

My hubby and I recently wanted to get a quote for a better or cheaper insurance and went the outsurance way seeing as they are promoting if you can't get it cheaper than with then they give you a R500 if you have been with the same insurance company for more than 3 years they give you R1500 if they cannot beat the price. We called and we are with King price at the moment but wanted to see if we could get it cheaper there. We could not they wanted comprehensive insurance for 2 cars R1200 and odd rand turns out we are getting it for less than a R1000 at King price for the same comprehensive insurance. When we asked about the money we supposed to get with the promotion as we were not going to pay more than we are now currently paying we were said it was fine and we won't take the insurance because it was more. The consultant politely said someone will call us back to get our details. To this day no one ever called us back and there was no R1500 as advertised. We fall for these things every day. Just wasn't expecting this from outsurance. Never the less our insurance is on his name Rave Pretorius and his number is ***
