Outsurance's pathetic database of vendors
Outsurance insisted that I send my car for an inspection for my car immobilizer that I already have in my car. On 14Jul23, I went to the Dunkeld West vendor that they sent me. I spent time walking around the whole complex looking for it and learnt that the business closed down before covid. I came back home called Outsurance again. They sent me to Fordsburg and I called to find out if they do work for OUTsurance for immobilizers. They said yes. I went there , and then they said that they can't do an inspection because their Outsurance book is full. I came back home and called Outsurance again . Outsurance sent me to Rivonia. I called Rivonia and they said that they don't do Outsurance inspections anymore for a long time . Now I'm livid! I called Outsurance again and spoke to a manager Ms 'Khaya' and I explained the above to her. I said I was not prepared to be sent all over Joburg to their outdated vendor lists at my expense. I told her that Outsurance must now send their preferred Inspection vendor to my home to inspect my car because I've done enough to comply with Outsurance's new rule for immobilizer.
